An exhibition of contemporary ceramics inspired by diverse cross-cultural influences by three international artists. All the works featured were created during and intensive collective work stint in the Gaya Ceramic Arts Center studio and fired in the two beautiful newly built wood-fired kilns. High temperature wood-firing is an ancient, alchemical, co-creative process lasting several days. The pieces receive natural glazing and coloring effects from wood ash and atmospheric conditions in the kiln, creating an aesthetic of spontaneous beauty!
